Why cycling is better than running

Intro:
Cycling has many things that running doesn’t. There are many runners who wish they had a cycle. I can tell you 5 reasons why cycling is better than running:

1. Cycling is more fun and exciting and you get to go faster than a runner.
Many fast bikers are faster than runners, such as cycling at 7m/s compared to running at 5m/s. Be careful! You could collide with someone’s vehicle or fall down a cliff if you go too fast and/or you aren’t careful. Only the fastest runners can run more than 8m/s, while most people will not be able to bike at a speed exceeding 12.5m/s. While some runners are faster than cyclists, more cyclists would be able to outrun runners if there were the same number of runners compared to cyclists in the world.

2. Some bicycles have a cool bell and controls.
Many bicycles such as my bicycle have cool controls - a bell (to warn people you are in their way and want to go this way) and numbered gears. (the lower the gear or speed number, the easier it is to bike but the slower you go)
Most if not all bikes have pedals - there is a simple yet cool operation to this - the wheels make you travel places. But if it is very difficult for you to bike, you can walk the bike instead. Then you can bike again. Something also wheely interesting is that cyclists may also have extra unusual controls in a bike - but seldom.

3. Running is harder than cycling.
There are more injuries in running than cycling because even Usain Bolt has collided with someone while running too fast before and got injured. The man that Bolt collided with was an Olympic cameraman. If you run too fast, you are more likely to collide with someone. Therefore, it is very challenging to run 100mi a day. Usain Bolt, the fastest man to run, if he doesn’t stop running at max speed or get a single injury, would take almost 4 hours to run 100 miles, just the same speed as he took under 10 seconds to complete the 100m and under 20 seconds to complete the 200m. Meanwhile, a biker going 15m/s would take only 3 hours to bike 100 miles if he didn’t stop biking at max speed or get a single injury. If you were to run 100 miles per day, you most certainly wouldn’t be able to talk.

There are up to 4× more injuries and up to 2.5× more inflammation marks that people experience in running rather than cycling. Usually, cycling 10 miles is moderate in perceived exertion, a 13 in the Borg scale, while running 10 miles is vigorous to most people, a 16 in the Borg scale. Many people get tired easily - it is better to bike than run to work, especially if your office is far away, perhaps some 30km away from home because if it is that far away, you would be more tired when you arrive if you ran to work. Biking to that distance would also be tiring, but less tiring. This would be the same for university or school. To some people, it is better than driving to work even though driving is faster.

4. Cycling has many benefits.
You can lose more weight in cycling more than running because cycling burns between 400 and 1000 calories per mile, depending on difficulty cycling, while running burns no more than 400 calories per mile. Not just that, you can build more muscles in cycling than running and eventually you would look more like a strong person whose muscle marks are visible, rather than an overweight person. If you cycle every day, you would improve your immune system, reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, diabetes and cancer, reduce your stress and pollution levels (unlike an engine car) and boost up your brain power.

Running on the other hand, doesn’t work quite as well and has less benefits. The Netherlands, where nearly all people are bikers (less than 1% don’t have a bike) and a quarter of all trips are made by bike, has at least one city where cars aren’t permitted - you can only travel by foot or by bike. If you want to get fit faster, cycling is better for you than running. Runners may also get fit, but it appears harder to get fit than cycling.
You will most likely feel better if you cycle rather than run or cycle more than run.

5. A bicycle has a seat unlike runners.
Like a unicycle, a tricycle, a car, a van, a helicopter, a boat, etc., you get to sit down on a seat while traveling. In running, however, you always need to use your feet to walk and run - There’s no seat available whatsoever.

You can cycle with but you can’t run with a seat because running is severely limited to just fitness gear and cycling is not so limited. Most bicycles have seats unlike this odd one:

If you want to bike around the world, you must avoid contact with other people and places where cycling is not allowed or you might fall off your seat. You can always visit bike-friendly areas while trying to bike around the world.

Some places have mountain biking tracks - easier for biking than running because running steep downhill makes you more likely to fall down and hurt yourself. A seat is so much more relaxing for many people than running, especially if they are tired and stressed due to excessive running.

End:
There is also lots of new stuff you can buy with a bike.
These are the reasons why cycling is more suitable than running.

Humour

Dictionary definitions 01) the quality of being funny 02) aka sense of humour -  the ability to appreciate or express that which is humorous 03) situations, speech or writings that are thought to be humourous Origin From the Latin humor meaning   moisture , related to Latin ūmēre to be wet, Old Norse vökr moist, Greek hugros wet In ancient and medieval physiology, it refers to any of the four body fluids (blood, phlegm, choler, and melancholy or black bile) which were thought to determine physical condition and state of mind. (Found this information online.) What does it mean when a person has a sense of humour? A person is thought to have a sense of humour when other people find him funny. Sometimes I have a sense of humour because my family laughs at my jokes. About my mum

About my mum But not the only person I love. Born on 27 June 1980 in the Philippines, my mum (full name: Wrigley Expression Santos) currently works for Auckland Council. She writes about services of the massive Auckland Council. She and my dad (Glenn Santos, born May 6, 1979) worked very hard and they migrated from the Philippines to New Zealand. My mum works very hard and has never been fired a single time. That means everytime she moves into a different office, she leaves work.  She did many things on Google Drive over the recent few years. She takes care of her second baby (Stella Lily Santos, born October 30, 2015) firmly and she and I have fun with her. My mum really hates cats. They scare her and sends my dad to scare them away.  Sometime in April she encountered a dog. She kept still and told the council there was a dog out on the street. If it were a cat, the situation would be even worse. She loves me very much. Sometimes she can tell me off because she ca...
